TBLI CONFERENCE™ is the
largest annual global networking and learning event on Socially Responsible Investment and Economic, Social and Governance issues of Europe and Asia.
At Europe 2009, Francis Vorhies spoke in a session on Biodiversity Investment on the possibility of establishing a green development mechanism under the CBD which could be based on promoting biodiversity responsibility on the part of both suppliers of green development and demanders of green development. The subsequent discussion explored opportunities for using a GDM to ensure net biodiversity impacts of large scale projects such as dams.
